WhiskyFest

Luxco’s whiskey portfolio made quite the splash from coast to coast this fall! After a couple days of blitzing the Northern California market sharing our whiskey brands, the team hosted a “Meet the Makers” event where Global Brand Ambassador Philip Lux, Head Distiller Steve Beam, and Brand Ambassador Stephen Fante were able to educate the distributor team and local buyers on products from both distilleries. The event featured neat samples and cocktails showcasing the versatility of the whiskey brands – and it was a great opportunity for Philip, Steve, and Stephen to meet those making key decisions behind the bar. A successful event indeed, as more than 40 people attended.

WhiskyFest in San Francisco and New York City allowed us to share some of Kentucky’s finest with over 2,500 whiskey connoisseurs. Our Lux Row Distillers™ booth welcomed guests who enjoyed samples of Blood Oath® Pact No. 5, Old Ezra®7-Year, David Nicholson®Reserve, Rebel Yell® 10-Year Single Barrel and the new Lux Row® Distillers 12-Year Double Barrel. Limestone Branch Distillery™ sampled Yellowstone® Select, Yellowstone® Limited Edition, Minor Case Rye, and introduced the new Bowling & Burch gin. These products caused quite the buzz from attendees.

“WhiskyFest allows us to not only interact with consumers and whiskey aficionados, but we also get a chance to share our lineup with key account owners looking for their new favorite bourbon,” said Allison O’Brien, Assistant Brand Manager of Lux Row Distillers. “One of my favorite things is talking to consumers who have never tried our brands and making a believer out of them!”

Whiskey in the Winter Warms Up St. Louis

In late November, the Lux Row Distillers’ portfolio of bourbon was featured at Whiskey in the Winter, the largest whiskey festival in the country. The festival was held in St. Louis and featured more than 450 brands of whiskeys, bourbons and scotches. The sold-out festival saw over 1,800 attendees!

Missouri Key Account Specialist, Dustin Parres, served up a Rebel Yell Pineapple Daiquiri and an Apple Infused Ezra Brooks® Highball for attendees to sip on, and his Ezra Brooks caramel apples attracted the masses!

With all whiskey events under our belt for the year, we look forward to growing even more excitement for our brands in 2020!
