Employee Spotlight – Bridget Fitzgerald – Field Sales and Event Execution Manager
Bridget Fitzgerald joined Luxco® in June 2023 when Penelope® Bourbon was acquired. She currently serves as a Field Sales and Event Execution Manager, which is part of The Sales Enablement Team. In her role, she provides support to the sales team for the company’s off-premise tasting program for Penelope and other focus brands. In addition, she helps to execute events with members of the sales team in their respective markets.
Bridget’s day-to-day responsibilities include working directly with Luxco’s multiple tasting agencies and independent partners to ensure they have the information and direction they need so the tasting program is set up for success and runs smoothly regardless of the market.
“The most challenging part of my job is every single market and agency works differently,” said Bridget. “It’s not a one-size-fits-all type of situation, so I need to be fluid and organized at the same time. There are consistently a lot of moving pieces to manage.”
For Bridget, the coordination is all worth it, especially when she’s in the field at tasting events talking with brand superfans.
“To be at an event and hear someone appreciate all of the small details, and go on to tell me about why they love Penelope – or another one of our brands – always makes me feel so proud,” she said.
In her free time, Bridget loves to spend time with her husband and their kids. Bridget and her family enjoy listening to live music, attending sporting events and spending time at the beach.
